Robert Laing was a man of few words and even fewer emotions. He had lived a hard life, growing up in the rough streets of London, and had learned to keep his feelings bottled up deep inside. He was a successful businessman now, but the stress of his job and the constant pressure to succeed had taken a toll on him. He smoked cigars like it was his only vice, but in reality, it was his way of coping with the chaos around him.
